Playful, cuddly kids make women feel like a young mother, as these attributes are associated with young kids, and you can only have young kids if you've recently been young enough to have kids. And when a man wants a younger-acting wife, often this is because he still wants to feel like a young man. In both cases, people need to understand that as animals of all species grow and age, they grow less playful and enthusiastic, because they are more tired and have seen more of the world.
