071 Biff Henderson's son James is not just a junior, but the third! Also a really great guy who is damn proud of his dad.
David Letterman's productions employed a very special stage manager who worked on all Dave's network television programs. Beginning with the morning show, continuing on to Late Night, following Dave to CBS and working all the way to the end of Late Show in 2015, Biff Henderson is a Letterman & Company Institution. His countless on-screen appearances, whether in the studio during show tapings or being sent on remotes to sporting events, major award ceremonies and much much more is a perfect example of the very fabric of Letterman's signature tone of the show; Dave would take folks who worked on the program and turn them into some of the most recognizable personalities in entertainment.
There might not be a better example of this concept than with Biff. On this very special episode of @thelettermanpodcast Mike has a delightful conversation with Biff's son James. What was it like to be the son of the most famous stage manager in entertainment? Mike and James, or Jamie as he goes by, have a fantastic conversation that delves into that subject, and much more. A loving tribute, Jamie is so very proud of his dad and all he accomplished, simply by being himself and staying true to who he is.
