Thabiti has served in various capacities in a number of churches in NC, DC, and the Cayman Islands. He is also a regular contributor for The Gospel Coalition and The Front Porch. He also serves as the board president of The Crete Collective whose mission is to help plant churches in underserved brown and black communities.
Thabiti has written several books, including:
“What Is a Healthy Church Member?” (Crossway, 2008).
“The Faithful Preacher: Recapturing the Vision of Three Pioneering African American Pastors” (Crossway, 2007).
“The Decline of African American Theology: From Biblical Faith to Cultural Captivity” (IVP, 2007).
