As humans, it's in our nature to overly attach to things, people, expectations, outcomes. But our need to control and our difficulty with detaching stems from fear rooted in the ego. While it's natural to resist change, beautiful and joyful new experiences and relationships are waiting to come into our lives - however, it's our job to make space for them. In this episode I discuss the psychology behind control, attachment, and resistance towards letting go, and how we can move through this resistance to find peace with the unknown. Through some of my favorite metaphors, I share that when we learn to let go with love, we make room for the things that are meant for us to enter our lives.
