We chat about the event celebrating a legendary Limerick sailor
An international Irish sailing event took place last weekend to commemorate the heroic achievements 100 years ago of Irish sailor Conor O’Brien from Co Limerick. The Foynes native was the first sailor to circumnavigate the world in a small yacht via the 3 Great Capes. He designed and commissioned the Saoirse, a 42-foot ketch in West Cork in 1922.
Co-founder of ‘Sailing Into Wellness’ Colin Healy joins Joe to discuss.
