John Borshoff is the CEO and Managing Director of Deep Yellow a publicly listed company on the ASX: DYL and OTC: DYLLF. Deep Yellow is a uranium company with advanced projects in Namibia and Western Australia with the potential to become the largest pure-play uranium producers on the ASX. John is an experienced mining executive and geologist with more than 40 years of uranium industry experience. John is recognised as a global uranium industry expert and has a vast international network across the uranium and nuclear industries, as well as the mining investment market. He has a Bachelor of Science (Geology) from the University of Western Australia and is a Fellow of both the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. John began by talking about his history in the mining sector and his rollercoaster journey in founding Paladin Energy. John talked about his learnings during the numerous uranium cycles and how he is approaching Deep Yellow differently John also discussed the energy sector and the growing conversation about using nuclear energy across the globe.
