Lately I have been thinking about the many different places I have visited in the astral, some are wondrous and beautiful beyond words, others carry a heavy dreary type of energy and the people there feel oppressed in some way. As I mentioned in my last podcast episode I asked some people why they were living in such cramped dreary conditions when on Earth many people who have had near death experiences say that it is all light and love. As I explained I didn’t get an answer.
However, maybe I did get my answer but it took time to form in my mind. Sometimes things have to be pondered and rolled over in your mind to truly understand, maybe while we are pondering things we get downloads from our guides to help us understand. At the same time fully understanding everything with our human mind I believe is an impossible task and not even necessary, I feel our intuition is probably one of our greatest tools.
These places I find myself in are consensus realities, a reality that is formed because all the people in it believe in it, they create it with their thoughts, the astral is thought and feeling sensitive and like attracts like so it does make sense that people with the similar energy, thoughts and emotions should be like magnets to each other and form a reality. This of course would be true for the happier places too, even places based around a particular religion. So the separation that we experience on Earth continues.
Ironically my pondering brought me back to Earth, we too live in a consensus reality, I could even ask myself the same question as I asked those people in the OBE, ‘Why do we live the way we live?’ Do we ever question the way we live, or is it so engrained in our belief system that we think this is the only reality?
When we are born I’m sure we perceive the world in a different way though few of us remember, things that might have been natural for us as young children may have been programmed out of us by our system. I used to teach English in a nursery school, I remember a little girl who had drawn colours around her mother, it looked very much like an aura, the girl was 3 and this was obviously how she saw her mother. The main teacher, I was a sort of assistant, saw the picture and told the girl off saying that people didn’t have colours round them. I remember this teacher as being a bit severe, even I was a bit wary of her lol. If we are told often enough as children that something doesnt exist then we will with time block it as we feel that we are not normal.
So really is our world any different from the consensus realities I visit in the astral, it may be a slowed down version, as being such a dense environment energetically things take longer to materialise. Can we too change our world by simply changing how we think and how we feel and by being more focused in the present moment rather than allowing our minds to wander into the past and the future. Imagine if our thoughts were audible, imagine the noise. In a book I’m reading at the moment called Pan and Me: Metaphysical Adventures with the Spirit of Nature by Michael Roads. This excerpt did make me laugh:
“Please do not feel offended, but your approach to our level of reality has all the sounds of an aircraft leaving one of your airports. You live in a very noisy frame of reality. What you consider to be silence to us is the horrendous thunder of billions of people’s thinking gone mad.”
Now that really is something to ponder.
Happy travels,
Ali.
