Angela Walton-Raji is a nationally known author and African American and Native American genealogist. She hosts a weekly African Roots Podcast devoted to African American genealogy news, methods, and events. She is one of the founders of AfriGeneas.com, the oldest online website for African American genealogy. She is the only genealogist in the nation to present regular genealogy lectures at the Smithsonian Museum of the American Indian in both the Washington D.C. and New York facilities. Her book, Black Indian Genealogy Research, is the first and only book to address the documentation of African Americans with ties to Native Americans within the family structure.
