Jack Devlin shares his testimony from humble beginnings in the mining community of Blantyre in Scotland to Lesotho where he worked for the charity Skill Share, to teaching plumbing in the Polytechnic in Maseru. Born in 1932 this is a fascinating portrait of a Catholic man's life over eight decades. Throughout his life Jack has been guided by his faith, in his spare time working with the communities of the Sisters of Mercy, the St Vincent de Paul and the Benedictine Monks at Pluscarden Abbey. Jack has three children and five grandchildren, and still enjoys travelling, walking, a few holes of golf and a wee dram of speyside whisky!
