This sandy beach has a deep pool of water in the center containing The Locktopus, a large skeletal octopus with bone tentacles that each end in a key numbered 1-8. This is an avatar of the octopus god Godtopus.
The Octobox is submerged 20 feet below the water. When the box is unlocked with a key, it rises out of the water and opens to reveal an octopus salad. The Locktopus says, “It’s the time of judgment. Eat me or be eaten.” If you allow The Locktopus to eat you, go up one level and you’re now a cleric of Godtopus. If you eat the octopus salad, you’re judged and die in d6 days.
