Market Close 30 June 23: Aussie stocks lift almost 10% over year

It’s new financial years eve and the market celebrated by finishing in the green, along with 8 of the 11 sectors. The market ended in positive territory for the week, the month, the quarter and the financial year. Downer EDI was the best performer after winning a $4.6b contract with the QLD government. Imugene rose after making progress in its cancer treatment study. Ahead, the Reserve Bank will hand down its interest rate decision on Tuesday at 2:30pm.
