23-27 Back On Track - An Interview With Anedra Brown
Episode 23:27 - Back On Track - An Interview With Anedra Brown
Believe it or not, for most individuals the key to losing weight is to NOT try.
Sounds crazy, right?
It isn’t.
In fact, it makes a lot of sense… once you understand the secret.
The secret followed by this week's special guest, Anedra Brown.
You see, Anedra never set out to lose weight.
Instead, she simply wanted to “Get Healthy.”
To do whatever she needed to do to get rid of the pain and stiffness that caused her to hurt all over… leaving her a prisoner in her own body, unable to enjoy even the simplest activities of life.
This desire to “Get Healthy” led her to make changes in her lifestyle.
Physical changes.
Nutritional changes.
Emotional changes.
Changes that helped her “Get Healthy.”
And, therein lies the secret.
Remember, Anedra never set out to lose weight.
Instead, her goal was to “Get Healthy” so her pain would disappear.
She did… and her pain disappeared.
In addition, as a “side-effect”, she dropped nearly 200 pounds.
Yes, 200 pounds!!!
NOT by trying to lose weight… but by trying to “Get Healthy.”
We’ve had Anedra on before as a guest (Episodes 21-1, 21-25, 22-16 and 22-17) and, on those episodes, she did a wonderful job of sharing with us exactly what she did on her health journey.
(If you haven’t already, be sure to listen to those episodes. They’re awesome!)
On THIS episode, however, we have her on for another reason.
A reason most of us can relate to:
You see, Anedra’s health journey got a little off track this past year.
After moving to Mississippi in December of 2021 (she mistakenly says December 2022 on the episode) Anedra found it challenging to “stick to the program.”
As a result, she gained back some of the weight she had lost.
She discusses her setbacks on this episode… AND shares what she is doing to get back on track.
Give this episode a good listen as it is incredibly relatable and inspiring.
Then be sure to share it with a friend.
Thanks!
