Released on the 79th anniversary of the tragedy, Katie and Liz go through the details of the day, July 6th, 1944, where so many lives were lost. Due to outdated safety regulations, a cancelled show, and panic, the entirety of a big top tent, sitting anywhere from 6,000 to 9,000 people, collapsed just 10 minutes after a small fire started behind the bleachers. Roughly 168 people died, and hundreds more were injured from burns and trauma from the crowd crushes.
