Having the ability and skill set to look at the surrounding area of where you shot your animal and being able to understand if you had a good or bad shot is huge within the hunting community. Lyle is a professional tracker and runs his own tracking company, @schmavis_big_game_recovery, and gives us a few tips on what to look for to determine the type of shot you had on your animal and what to expect when starting the recovery process.
