Join Katie and Liz on this week's episode of True Crime New England as they talk about a story of parental rage gone wrong: The Hockey Dad Killer. In July of 2000, Thomas Junta brought his 10-year-old son for a hockey scrimmage at a local rink in Reading, Massachusetts. When the scrimmage referee, Michael Costin, allowed for too much roughness in the game, Thomas confronted him and a violent argument ensued. After an intense physical altercation, Michael Costin was dead. Listen in to hear the details of the fight, as well as the trial and the unfortunate repercussions the fight had on both families involved.
