Norse Tales #1 | Heimdall the Culture Bringer

In this first episode of Norse Tales, NWK Gothi Bodvarr reads the story of Heimdall the culture bringer. This story is chapter X in Victor Rydberg's "our Fathers Godsaga, retold for the young." It is a much more palatable version of the same information from the more academic "Teutonic Mythology" by Victor Rydberg. It is embellished and seems to bear some resemblance to earlier versions of Beowulf with the arrival of Sheaf in a boat from an unknown place across the sea, with the boy eventually becoming the beloved ruler, defender and teacher of man.
