From April to September 1988, New Bedford, Massachusetts witnessed the inexplicable vanishing of eleven women. As the months passed, the grim discovery of the remains of nine of these women began to unfold. Regrettably, the remaining two missing women have yet to be located and are presumed deceased. It was only when law enforcement authorities started recognizing striking parallels among the victims that they concluded the disappearances and tragic deaths were the acts of a serial killer.
