Naomi Brenner is an associate professor in the Department of Near Eastern and South Asian Languages and Cultures at The Ohio State University. Tamar Sovran is a professor emerita from the Department of Hebrew Language and Semitic Linguistics at Tel Aviv University.

Taking a short break from the National Association of Professors of Hebrew (NAPH) annual conference, the two sat down with The Global Connection host Anna Sajecki to talk about how Hebrew as a language and literature has evolved and shifted with time.
