Reaction to the Guardians trading Amed Rosario to the Dodgers for Noah Syndergaard + QB Contracts

Amed Rosario was on an expiring contract and the Cleveland Guardians were unlikely to re-sign the young shortstop, so instead, the team dealt him to the Los Angeles Dodgers in exchange for pitcher Noah Syndergaard.

Syndergaard was once a dominant pitcher for the Mets but has since fallen off a cliff. If any team can revitalize his career, it's the Guardians. The team also recalled Oscar Gonzalez from Triple-A to fill Rosario's roster spot until Syndergaard returns from a rehab assignment.
