078 Tige Rodgers is a brilliant morning show host, but got his start with Letterman
A longtime staff member of Late Show with David Letterman once told Mike that we need to make sure we have plenty of conversations with the folks who spent time as interns on the show. The exact quote was 'The interns have all the great stories.' This episode certainly helps make a case for that statement. Tige Rodgers is a successful, well loved morning radio personality with a career spanning more than 2 decades. His broadcast life was inspired by David Letterman, and during his crucial formative years, Tige was lucky enough to be chosen as an intern for Late Show with David Letterman, solidifying his passion and vocation choice. Working in various posts for the show, Tige lived his dream and grew his vision of what his life could be like during his time working at the Ed Sullivan Theater. He was also dressed up like a cat by Sue Hum. Come see how that happened.
