How to listenWhen listening to another person, it is important that we:
- listen with the intention to understand and respond
- let go of our own experiences and the need to talk about them
- let go of judgment
When we listen, we give the other person a true gift of self.
CommunicationAt least one person must be listening for communication to take place.
Listening DayMay 16 is National Listening Day. There is a lovely poem, “Today I Will Listen,” by Marva Shand McIntosh.
