The Intercontinental Championship has a long and rich history in WWE. Very soon, that history could be rewritten as current IC Champion Gunther is on the verge of breaking the Honky Tonk Man’s record as the longest-reigning champ. It’s a record that was set 35 years ago. This week, I discuss the possibility of that happening and why I don’t think that’s a good idea.
A reminder that the 2023 My 1-2-3 Cents Wrestling Figure Drive has already started. Drop off wrestling figures now at Castle Perilous Games and Books in Carbondale, Illinois. Or you can Venmo me or message me to arrange pickup. You may also drop off figs at Stride Pro Wrestling shows. The next one is Saturday, Aug. 5, in Carterville, Illinois.
