151: Jean Kotterman – Remission From Colon Cancer

 Jean Kotterman-Mumau says:

I am a working single mom of three children. One is married, one is finishing up college, and one is in high school and home full-time with me. I have always been a teacher, and most recently have been working as a Reading Specialist, helping children with reading delays due to Covid, learning disabilities or other reasons.

Early on in my 30s, I became interested in eating “low-carb” as a means of losing weight, but most recently, I have tried eating strictly keto as a way of combating colon cancer and reducing the side effects of treatments such as radiation and chemotherapy.

Jean’s Top Tips

1. Pray before embarking on the journey.
2. Use an app to track your macros.
3. Get some support – a coach or a mentor.
