Just like bees go to flowers for the nectar, disciples go to masters for their teachings. But not always they are ready to listen and open to receive. In an introduction to the world of Zen and to illustrate how a disciple should listen, Vasant Swaha tells the story of Kokua, the first Japanese master to study Zen in China. He also shares a little of his own experience after enlightenment and the unique ways masters such as Buddha, Meher Baba, Osho, Ramana Maharshi, and others found to convey their teachings and challenge people to get out of their sleep and deal with a great dilemma of human life.
