During her career, Crystal led primetime evening newscasts, extensively covering: George Floyd’s murder in Minneapolis and the subsequent riots throughout the city; investigations into hate crimes in the wake of the deadly Atlanta spa shootings; the Aaron Hernandez double-murder trial and many big political races in the national spotlight, including Atlanta’s 2021 mayoral election and Georgia’s 2022 primary race.
Crystal Bui is the author of “More To Tell” a memoir about the sexism and racism she faced as a female Asian news reporter in Minneapolis during the time of George Floyd’s murder. The book is available at www.MoreToTellBook.com and is now sold across online retailers.
