Arrivée returns with our on-the-whistle review of the world championship men’s road race in Glasgow - where the grumbles about the crit-like course were drowned out by a pulsating, heavy metal battle for the rainbow jersey.
Much of the pre-race speculation focused on the latest instalment of Mathieu van der Poel and Wout Van Aert’s age-old rivalry.
