Meet Steve! A local Firefighting hero who loves a good mountain bike trail and won the 2021 Australian Day Award for Sports and Recreation. Awarded for Steve’s contribution to the community for building The Sugar Bag Bike Trails which has become a locally registered recreational site. Despite his success Steve was hit hard when Covid struck which significantly impacted his mental health. In this episode Steve’s talks candidly about his past struggles with suicidal thoughts and his wise advice on what you can do to pull yourself through the fire!
