10@9 Seek God and God Will Do the Rest - August 11, 2023

This morning we explore the Hebrew word for Seek, used to describe the potential Jerusalem holds for us, used to describe the unique quality of the upcoming Days of Awe, and used, the first time this word occurs in the Torah, for our primary way of seeking God, with prayer. Through a touching story of a storekeeper's broken heart, we glimpse how God responds to our seeking, with love. Michael Whitman is the senior rabbi of ADATH Congregation in Hampstead, Quebec, and an adjunct professor at McGill University Faculty of Law. ADATH is a modern orthodox synagogue community in suburban Montreal, providing Judaism for the next generation.
