Coky, who has not only directed the feature 'How to Build a Girl' and many many TV shows including Sherlock, Penny Dreadful and Save Me, sat with Giles Alderson and Dom Lenoir to discuss making a musical based on a stage show with Take That songs!.
She also discusses:
Financing a big budget film outside of the studio system.
What is like to shoot in a foreign country.
Guiding new actors through the process of film-making.
Choreographing big set pieces.
And also what it is like learning the craft of TV directing.
What it is like filming a musical.
And gives some amazing advice if you are breaking in as a director.
