Miami Hurricanes Receive ZERO AP Votes, Are They Really This Bad? Recruiting Updates On Top Targets
The AP Top 25 Poll has been released. Not only did the Miami Hurricanes not make the list, but they didn’t receive any votes. Are the Hurricanes really this bad? Not receiving a single vote means the AP considers Miami to be outside the top 49 teams in America. Miami have four opponents on the preseason poll: Florida State (8), Clemson (9), North Carolina (21) and Texas A&M (23). Miami opponents Louisville and NC State appear in the “others receiving votes” category.
Host Alex Donno and guest Bruce Warner “The Truth Teller” discuss how Miami clearly needs to earn the respect that hasn’t been given. The guys each nominate a breakout player for the 2023 season. Donno explains why he is so bullish on transfer running back Ajay Allen and why he is seeing so much progress from the wide receivers. Colbie Young, Jacolby George and Xavier Restrepo all had big plays in the weekend scrimmage. Meanwhile, Miami recruiting target Zaquan Patterson is expected to announce a verbal commitment later this month. Will Miami land the 5-Star safety over Auburn, FSU, Michigan and Ohio State?
