Over the years that I’ve spent coaching entrepreneurs, I’ve seen far too many fall into the trap of becoming obsessed with their goals. Becoming overly fixated on achieving one specific outcome makes it harder to maintain the flexibility that is needed to pivot or shift your goals when necessary. When this rigidity and singlemindedness leads you to try to force a particular result, chances are you will not even come close to the finish line — and this can discourage you from trying again in the future.
What we need to do as a collective is shift the way that we approach our goals.
