EP: 187 Into The Astral

The allure of the New Age experiences can start young for many people. In the last half-century, we have seen a mainstream effort to normalize tarot cards, palm reading, Ouija boards, the casting of spells, and a plethora of other New Age practices.  Many who leave Christianity for the New Age have bizarre spiritual experiences, terrifying encounters, and yet these episodes are strangely alluring for some who experience them. Our guest this week recounts her journey--from astral projecting, visits from strange entities, fortune telling, and a laundry list of encounters with things most are too skeptical to even consider. Jo always believed in Jesus and the supernatural, but did not realize the depths of the spiritual arena she was willingly engaging. This is a testimony of redemption, God's relentless pursuit of his prodigals, and the power of His reconciliation and grace over the fires of darkness.
