Derek Carr, New Orleans Saints starters should play vs. Texans... kinda

The New Orleans Saints starters like Chris Olave, Michael Thomas and of course quarterback Derek Carr should play at least one drive in Sunday's game vs. the Houston Texans. Meanwhile, defensive starters like Khalen Saunders and other should spot start where necessary while Marshon Lattimore sits out getting ready for the season.

Running back Ellis Merriweather has made as good a case as any to make the 53-man roster. Players like Shaq Davis, Ugo Amadi and Lonnie Johnson Jr have a chance to sew up a roster spot this week while a player like Niko Lalos has a chance to prove he's worth the shot.
