In this podcast episode, we explore the concept of thoughts and opinions and how they influence our beliefs and actions. Afterall, opinions are really just thoughts too. We will have a discussion about the different sources of thoughts, including the brain's problem-solving function, past experiences, and external influences. I will teach you that thoughts are not necessarily facts and that we have the power to question and challenge them.
There are many common opinions that are often accepted as truths, such as "early to bed, early to rise" and "watching TV is a waste of time." However, we must recognize that these are subjective beliefs and may not align with their own values and experiences. You have the power to choose which ones to believe and live by.
You will begin to question your own thoughts and opinions, particularly those that may limit your potential or hinder your well-being. Your thoughts are simply sentences in the mind and can be changed or challenged. By recognizing the subjective nature of thoughts and opinions, we can gain a greater sense of empowerment and agency in our lives.
