On this week's installment of True Crime New England's mini episode series, Katie and Liz talk about another set of unsolved murders- that happened to have occurred on the exact same day. Katie starts the episode off by sharing the details of the murder of Charline Rosemond. In April of 2009, Charline borrowed her dad's car to run some errands and failed to return home. Several days later, she was found in the car with a single bullet wound to her head and all of her money missing. Her case remains unsolved. Then, Liz tells the story of the shooting murder of 35-year-old Samuel Nieves out of Fitchburg, Massachusetts, who was found shot inside his apartment. The police wrote it off as gang violence and no one has ever been deemed responsible. Anyone with any information on the murder of Charline Rosemond is asked to please call the Middlesex County DA's office at (781) 897-6600 or the Somerville Police Department at (617) 625-1600. Anyone with any information on the murder of Samuel Nieves is asked to please call Fitchburg police at (978) 345-4355.
