In March 2013, Molly Franquemont disappeared in Sunnyvale, California. Once her family, who lived back on the East Coast, learned that she was missing, Molly’s sister, Abby, went to California to figure out what happened to her.
Through her investigation, Abby discovered that a few months before Molly went missing, she started renting a room from a man named Glen Griggs. Abby also learned that Glen was a violent person and Molly had been scared for her safety before she went missing.
As the police investigation progressed, they suspected Molly was murdered and Glen was responsible. However, when they tried to arrest him, he brandished a gun, and he was shot and killed by police.
To this day, no one has been held responsible for Molly’s disappearance and her body has never been located.
Anyone with information can call the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety at 408-730-7101.
