The Kingdom of God, at this moment in time, is not a specific local region or establishment. This Kingdom of God that Jesus was describing is not a place where God reigns, but rather the reign of God itself – God’s rule, authority, and power. The kingdom is not something we create by our own efforts, but rather something we receive. The Kingdom of Heaven has positioned us, because of what Jesus has done for us, with the Keys and Authority of the Kingdom of Heaven. With that said, then…

When is the Kingdom of God Coming? Did Jesus preach the coming of the kingdom as a future reality, as many Christians affirm?  Or did he believe that the Kingdom of God was truly present in his earthly ministry, as defining it to be in our day and time?
