The Chicago Bears initial 53-man roster to start the 2023 season didn't have any shocking cuts, but that could change with Ryan Poles holding the first position in waiver claims.

Trevis Gipson and Kindle Vildor were waived as expected, while Velus Jones and Terrell Lewis were among the players on the bubble who kept their jobs.
