Red Wing’s Oil and Gas HSE Podcast was live at The Offshore Technology Conference, OTC 2017, in Houston, Texas. For anyone in our listening audience who hasn’t heard of the Offshore Technology Conference, OTC “is where energy professionals meet to exchange ideas and opinions to advance scientific and technical knowledge for offshore resources and environmental matters.”
“OTC ranks among the largest 200 trade shows held annually in the United States and is among the 10 largest meetings in terms of attendance.”
This is a special episode that was recorded in two parts: The first segment was recorded live from OTC 2017 at the Red Wing booth in the main exhibition hall at NRG Stadium where Mark and Patrick spoke with Red Wing’s Tito Warren.
The second segment of this episode was recorded live from National Oilwell Varco’s annual shrimp boil, where we spoke with NOV’s Tom Yoast about technology that is making the job of drilling well’s safer for the personnel operating the equipment with their Stand Transfer Vehicle (STV).
