The US Constitution initially required Congress to enact Federal criminal law. As the government has expanded its power beyond its constitutional authority, the managerial state usurped the legislative power of Congress and now routinely creates law through regulation. These laws are so numerous and so broadly written, that the average American could be charged with as many as three felonies per day. This is obviously not the mark of country founded in liberty.
