A happy coincidence it also collated with an all-time favourite leadership principle at Amazon, 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐞 𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬.
🔸#AI is on everybody's mind across east and west. But surprisingly we have a bit of 𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 attitude towards the AI revolution, where China in majority is excited and stays optimistic about how AI will create more jobs vs. US has been voicing the concerns about AI destroying and eliminating future jobs right from the beginning.
🔸The top management advice to startup founders/HR practitioners is to stay 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 on critical business/talent strategies for the rest of 2023. Making balder moves early on and try to reduce the frequencies of cost-cutting if possible, as its devastating effects hit both impacted and remaining workforce at the company. And lastly, do 𝐍𝐎𝐓 lose sight on long-term bets. When the tides are gone, the naked swimmers are out. This is the best time to play offense in long-term investment.
