I refer to Tracii in this episode as the Richard Linklater of Metal, which I think is the best way to describe someone who embeds spirituality, philosophy into his life and music, and goes on wonderful tangents that make you understand how much thought goes into his everyday actions. One expects a certain flavor in terms of classic metal and Tracii provides that, but also goes against the grain and and incorporates influences such as Kabuki theater, Prog rock, Psychedelic music, and even covers a James Brown song. Welcome to the world of Tracii. There are not many other people in the world that started writing songs at 5 years old, had a band at 8, hung out with Slash in high school, became a famous metal guitarist by his early 20's, and started Guns and Roses and L.A. Guns! Tracii is such a down to earth impressive and thoughtful person. Please enjoy.
