Emmet Brennan is an Olympian and two-time Irish boxing champion. From beginning his boxing journey at 25 to pushing through a Covid-postponed tournament and finally clinching his spot at the Tokyo Olympics, Emmet's story is nothing short of remarkable.

After a two-year break, he's gearing up for a much-anticipated pro debut on July 1st, 2023, in Belfast at the Close Encounters event, organized by MHD Productions. During our chat, Emmet talks about the invaluable support from his family, the commercial realities of transitioning to professional sports post-Olympics, and the vital importance of psychological support for athletes after the high-stakes competition.
