The only thing we could do was go to the Word.” Brain cancer survivor and full-time mom, Jodi Novak, tells us about her journey of walking through a very difficult diagnosis. She is now a long-term survivor and passionate about encouraging others who are in the midst of their own brain cancer battle. ABOUT OUR GUEST
Jodi Novak is originally from rural South Dakota. Jodi accepted the Lord in college and she met her husband, Kneil, on a summer mission trip in 1996. Three years into their marriage, in June 2001, Jodi was diagnosed with aggressive brain cancer (Glioblastoma). Jodi is now a long-term survivor and she’s passionate about encouraging others who are in the midst of their own brain cancer journey. Jodi’s faith in Jesus Christ and love of community are the driving forces in helping families touched by brain tumors. When not writing children’s books about brain cancer, Jodi is a part-time dental hygienist and a full-time mom of her two busy girls. Jodi has joyfully been involved with Moms in Prayer groups since 2015. She and her family reside in Parker, CO.
