Episode 69: False Time Constraints with Olga Koch
This week the boays are joined by comedian Olga Koch. Olga breaks down the boays’ repressed Scottish male barriers by bringing them facemasks to wear (see video version) and probing each of them to reveal the last time they cried. With a Masters in The Social Science of the Internet, Olga discusses what she learned from doing a thesis on parasocial relationships (and interviewing some of her own reply-guys for it). She also reveals how she once tried to chat-up Scots star Gerard Butler, how her background in computer science taught her pattern recognition which helps when writing jokes for TV panel shows - and how she's managed to combine her "horny" (Chortle.co.uk) standup material with her more intellectual interests, and how she’s bringing both these sides of herself to the stage.
