-----
In this episode, Miriam begins with introducing circus strongwoman Katie Sandwina (Austrian, 1884–1952), who was known for her incredible strength and beauty, and one memorable act was her lifting her husband overhead with one hand. At the start of the 20th century, Sandwina worked in the US with Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. The hosts explore Sandwina's early life and career, her weightlifting showdown, her strength and her performances, and her retirement with her husband in New York. Next, Lavetta introduces Fawn Hall (American, born 1959), a former secretary to Lieutenant Colonel Oliver North, who, along with North, was involved in the Iran-Contra scandal. Hall gained fame for her involvement in shredding documents related to the scandal, and after the scandal, she garnered further notoriety due to her relationship with actor Rob Lowe, as well as her struggles with drug addiction.
