Since the first Pride in the Treasure Valley, there’s always been the same thread of hope: That life was steadily improving for LGBTQ people in Boise. But the last few years have been especially difficult for our queer community, and many people are questioning that hope now. Hey Boise newsletter editor Blake Hunter and comedian Sophie Hughes join host Emma Arnold today to answer a question that’s been circulating: Is Boise actually safe for queer people?
