This evening we present the first of a three-part series on the Book of Yona, which we read on Yom Kippur afternoon. This short, famous, fantastic story of Jonah and the whale expresses every theme of the High Holidays. Tonight we consider who Yona was, why did he think he could run away from God, and the ultimate lesson for every one of us - God always gives us a second chance because change is possible.
