Week 2 Game Preview: Does Miami Need to Run the Football to Win on SNF?
Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa threw for more than 400 yards as the team's offense scored 36 points against the Chargers last week. Los Angeles responded to each punch before the Dolphins' defense put the game away for good on the final drive. New England's offense isn't nearly as explosive, will Miami choose to run the football and slow the game down against a divisional rival limited by injuries?
The Dolphins had little issue scoring points in Week 1, but keep in mind, they scored 30 points against the Patriots just once since 2019 — it involved two defensive touchdowns. Will coach Bill Belichick have a plan to slow Miami's passing attack, or will it be business as usual en route to a 2-0 record to begin the year?
