Waiting for a Heart Transplant with Jonathan Rosen

Jonathan Rosen began serving full-time with Josiah Venture in October 2012 after many summer internships in the Czech Republic. He and his wife, Veronika, and their daughter, Hailey, live and serve in the city of Ostrava, where they help lead their local church's high school and young adults' ministries. They also focus on encouraging and equipping youth ministry leaders throughout the city of Ostrava.

Currently, Jonathan is waiting in the hospital for a heart transplant. He shares about his health journey, how he and his family are doing, and how you can pray for them as they are in a difficult time of waiting and trusting in the Lord.

 

*This episode was recorded on Sept. 6th. Since Friday, Sept. 8th, he has been in the city of Brno waiting for the transplant to take place.

Prayers for Jonathan:

• Pray that he stays in remission!
• Pray that God heals his heart miraculously or provides a heart for the transplant soon.
• Pray for his family, as they are two hours away. Pray for strength and peace for his wife Veronika as she parents their 15-month-old daughter Hailey. 
• Pray that the faith of the believers around them would be encouraged.

• Pray that God would use this health journey to bring the non-believers around them to faith in Jesus.
